I was almost always exclusively a drug store beauty girl until I started this blog and decided to venture into more high end products. There is a huge difference, anyone who says there isn't is lying to you, using high end products is like putting room temperature butter on warm toast, it glides smoothly and evenly. Drug store products can best be compared to putting cold butter on warm toast, it is rough and hard to blend. Don't judge me, it's the best comparison I could come up with, but seriously I've been amazed at the difference in basic products like eyeliner and eye shadows.
You can have these products at drug store, sometimes even cheaper than, prices. Almost all high end companies have a sale page on their websites. It's fairly hit or miss and you don't get to be super picky with colors but if you stalk them like I do it's all about fabulash deals!

Lorac has a fabulous sale page, seriously they mark things down pretty significantly and have great products! It's called the VIP Discount.
Stilas sale page is "last chance", they are still pretty expensive but compared to the original prices they are less expensive. Reminder: Stila sells eye shadows in a pan so you need to buy containers separately.
