Review: Sugar Shock/ Sugar Dust

Goodbye sweet tooth! Let me introduce you to what has cured my sugar cravings. Sugar Shock it's a totally delicious new product from Bed Head and is a part of their Candy Fixations line. I had to order this through a local hair salon because no one is yet carrying it in Concord. This sweet spray has real sucrose in it and smells delightful. Claims to provide intense texture, wave and body...this spray upholds it's word. I used this spray this AM before work and put gentle curl into my hair using my curling wand. This look has held all day with minimal fly aways and maximum lift. My curl hasn't fallen much and my hair still looks very polished. I LOVE THIS SPRAY. I have used it almost everyday. It does leave hair with a weird grunge feeling at first but quickly can be worked out by gently brushing fingers through your hair. This has yet to destroy the style however made it feel a bit more natural.

I also ordered Sugar Dust... I am always looking for new ways to achieve maximum volume without having to blow dry. Most root lifters require blow drying (I really like to naturally dry my hair). This product is a great alternative. Sprinkle on your roots and poof lift. The greatest part? It's very similar to a dry shampoo and wicks away any greasy spots on that second day hair. It's totally translucent which is a must, I don't want to look like I sprinkled baby powder on my head. NOTE: When I got this I was concerned it was empty it feels totally light but it isn't no worries!
