Confession:I am one of those girls, I get sucked in by packaging and the look of this lip gloss that promises for super soft lips got me. I was excited when I saw the different flavors and colors, I LOVE peppermint, it's always my go to lip product, it helps freshen breath without the brushing and I like the cool rush.
This lip product had a lot of promise so I scooped up the peppermint and headed to check out. The taste and scent are much less than I expected, I really don't smell much peppermint at all. The other flavors were cherry, grape, peach, pink punch and quench... Quench and peppermint are both clear the others are tinted. Due to my unscented peppermint which is a generally strong fragrance I have low expectations for the others.
It does feel nice on your lips initially, it's similar to Blistex Silk & Shine in feeling. However pretty quickly my mouth began to feel gross, like I had been eating and my teeth felt slimy. That's really something I can't accept. It began to feel grainy on my lips and I had to wipe it off because I was way less than kissable.
LESS THAN KISSABLE. That is not something you ever want to say about your lip product.
